dc.description.abstract Traditional German polka band at the yearly Oktoberfest in Blumenau (SC). In the Southern region towns with names like Blumenau (SC), Garibáldi (RS), Nova Itália (SC) and Novo Hamburgo (RS) are examples of settlements founded by European immigrants, many of whom proudly retain their ethnic traditions.
