Description
65) The Barra da Tijuca Beach extends for 18 kms south of São Conrado. It is the city's longest and cleanest beach. Currently, there are still many undeveloped areas along the waterfront, but real estate speculation has slowly resulted in the construction of large condominiums, luxury houses and shopping areas.65) A praia da Barra da Tijuca estende-se por 18 quilómetros ao sul de São Conrado, sendo a mais longa e mais limpa praia da cidade. Atualmente ainda há muitas áreas não desenvolvidas na beira da praia, mas a especulação imobiliária tem resultado aos poucos na construção de grandes condomínios, casas de luxo e áreas comerciais.
