It would be wrong to assume that there is no racial discrimination in Brazil. Social groups are not based on skin color alone and the question of social whitening where "money whitens" is widely debated. Access to education and job opportunities are relevant dimensions of Brazil's racial inequalities. Nonwhites are the majority among the lower classes in Brazil. Nevertheless, prejudice is weak as people tend to freely intermingle and intermarry.Sinal de protesto do Movimento de Unificação do Negro em Brasília (DF). Seria errado admitir que não existe discriminação racial no Brasil. Grupos sociais às vezes são baseados na cor da pele e qucstílo do branqueamento social onde o "dinheiro branqueia" é amplamente debatido. O acesso à educação e às oportunidades de trabalho são outras relevantes dimensões da desigualdades raciais no Brasil. Os não brancos são a maioria entre as classes mais baixas da população.
