Included among these programs are several agencies that specifically deal with crime and justice issues for the American Indian and Alaskan Native (AI/AN) population. These include the OJP AI/AN Desk, the STOP Violence Against Indian Women (VAIW) Discretionary Grant Program, Violent Offender Incarceration (VOI) appropriation for discretionary grants to Native American tribes, and others.
