Abstract: This article discusses the growth in investment in renewable energy in Latin America. It identifies Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, & Chile as the major investors in renewable energy. The article concludes by calling for a diversification of the Venezuelan energy matrix, in addition to investments in education, innovation, & entrepreneurship.
