Description

A wheat field in eastern Paraná. Although Brazil is self-sufficient in many agricultural products, it is still forced to import such products as wheat. In many cases, as a result of inadequate transportation infrastructure and distribution of crops, as well as natural disasters, there are shortages of staples such as rice and beans.Um campo de soja no leste do Paraná. Apesar do Brasil ser auto-suficiente em muitos produtos agriculturais, ainda se vê obrigado a importar produtos como o trigo. Em muitos casos, como resultado de inadequada infra-estrutura de transporte e distribuição das 5 colheitas, como também desastres naturais, há racionamentos dos alimentos do dia a dia, como arroz e feijão.
